Well, it was about time to renew the website. Along with the new algorithm that google have imposed for mobile devices and the fact that the site looked dated I thought a spring clean was in order.

I am hoping to bring some new information to the site over time. Many people are interested in my trade and it would be nice to share some of my experiences of chimney sweeping, along with a few photographs.

The kind of questions that I hope to answer on here are

‘ What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever found in a chimney?’

‘ How tall is the tallest chimney you’ve swept?’

and ‘What does your wife use to clean the bath out?’

The answer to the last question is – She doesn’t, I have to do it myself. She does supply a generous amount of ‘Cif’ though, and I find car sponges from Poundland to be the most effective scrub for the money. I’ve ruined loads of her scrunchy things. I blame the kids.

So, yes. More to come.

Cheers,

Ben the Sweep
